I've been playing D&D and other role playing games since the early 80's. Our group has since grown up, matured, and had precious little time to play. We get together all too infrequently, now.

We found D&D 3.5e becoming too cumbersome. D&D 4e seemed way too much like a video game. We decided to get back to some real role playing and started playing A Game of Thrones by Green Ronin and are having a blast!

I prefer a low magic setting, letting the characters innate abilities shine and be the reason for victory. High magic campaigns seem more hollow to me because it boils down to how great of magic item you find.

Besides role playing I love board games and rarely pass up an opportunity to play.
