Indeed. We got another flurry of spam attempts this morning at 5am(CST). No posts or notifications! Yay!
Unfortunately, there are still issues with this strategy: If you mistype the code word below, it just throws you back to the forums without giving you any indication that something went wrong. I'll work on making that friendlier in the next few days. For now, the spamming should be stopped.

Also as a possible modification to the Spam Proofer thingy.
Maybe it should not ask for the Magic word when editing/updating an existing post.
Another words I should not have to prove I am still the same human that posted the original post and was not replaced with the liquid metal terminator later :-).
