Problem become an epic supporter

« Previous 1
My friend just subscribed to be an epic supporter. I know he did it a few days ago and is a bit worried that whenever he submitted his details it took him straight back here and it has been a few days. If I recall that is what happened to me as well, but that was quite a few months ago.

Am I remembering correctly that it takes a few days, or should he try something else? I'll link him here so he can explain better, but that is the gist of it.

Thanks, you're always really helpful :)

Yeah, just to confirm - that was me. I clicked to upgrade, got to paypal, signed in and confirmed that I wanted to pay. Normally when I use paypal I get a confirmation that a payment has taken place and within a few seconds am automatically returned to the site for whom the payment is for. I've tried upgrading three times and each time I get no confirmation of payment from paypal and it just sends me back to epic words.

And just a follow-up. I just now went onto Paypal and my payment history shows no indication that a payment was ever made. I first tried to upgrade Tuesday, so we're talking almost three days now.

Try this thread, there is a specific Paypal link at the bottom provided by the Admin.

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this (Thanks for the assist, James!) This is a recent problem with PayPal's recurring payments. We are still looking into the problem.

i've got the same problem with paypal right now. does something changed in the mean time?

We've switched from using recurring payment to one-time payments. This seems to work for most people. However, there has been another issue with getting payments from Germany. This has been a problem for a while and requires further investigation on my part.

Not to beat a dead horse, but it would be GREAT to have an alternative to paypal. The only way I got my issue fixed was by having a friend renew my acct with his paypal and paying him back.

I'm not looking forward to the renewal process next year.
