Make an AWESOME Campaign Page

Links below for inspiration on how to make your campaign look great!

http://www.epicwords.com/redemption_seekers My main D&D campaign has a pretty sweet layout, and features a TV Show style for recaps and future episode blurbs just like Chris Perkins from wizards outlines in his weekly column.

http://www.epicwords.com/dawn_of_defiance My Star Wars campaign has a very different kind of future episode blurb, a bonafide Star Wars text crawl, straight from starwars.com's own crawl generator.

Epic × 2!
Wow! Those are nice looking pages! And a great idea for a thread.

In addition, here's some advice:
I found a good way to pick colors for your page is to sample colors from your background image you're using. There are many applications that will show you the hex value (e.g. 6BFF8B) of any pixel in an image. These values can be in put into the color fields on the campaign Edit - Image & Color page.

Let's see some more campaigns!

Here's mine.

Its headlined by a banner with character images. I've recently gotten a player to take notes and give ELABORATE recaps of the night. Lets see if she can keep it up!

This is why we need the dashboard splash entry to stay on top.

I helped Michael (mbeacom) get these on his Iron Circle campaign page. You can too.

Simply go to http://www.epicwords.com/redemption_seekers, right click the image and get the image URL and the link URL from that, then on your own page put the URL tags around the IMG tags. Boom. Icons that link.

For example, the code to make a character builder icon is listed below, just take out the three asterisks *** on both lines and it'll actually work.

I, too, agree that the dashboard description should remain at the top whether you're logged into the campaign or not. It's a nice home screen.

Thanks to the suggestions and ideas put up in his thread! Working to ensure a better campaign site, now.
