Multi-GM or Ownership Transfer

← Previous 1
Is there a feature existing, or could one be added, to allow for multiple GMs in one Campaign or for ownership of a Campaign to be transferred to a different GM?

We do have a feature for this in beta testing. For your campaign, go to http://www.epicwords.com/campaigns/manage_gms/1088
You need to be following or friends of the users you wish to make GMs. This is a work in progress, though.Let me know if you encounter any problems or errors with it!

Thanks! Um, stupid question: How do I make someone my Friend on here?

EDIT: I became a "fan" so that I could grant the GM privileges, and that seems to have worked. Still, how do you just "Friend" someone here?

There are links to become a friend/fan of users on their profiles. Also, on the character page of campaign. On a campaign dashboard, there is a link to follow everyone in the campaign. It's right under the GM's name

Also, you can browse the user directory and see similar links: http://www.epicwords.com/users

You can become someone's "fan", and when they become your "fan", you form a friend link automatically. There's no instant "friend" link that I've seen.

What he said. If you're a 'fan' of someone, you get upgraded to 'friend' automatically if they return the favor.

Just wondering...

I have a Pathfinder Campaign that I have a co-GM who is not a player.

Dashboard Tab
  • Could he also show up beside my user icon under Game Master on the dash board.

  • Character Tab
  • He made a character, I think he had to, to join the campaign even thou I marked him as co-GM.
  • It would be cool if he had the option to have a character or not.

  • Loot Tab
  • If they select the character option above they would appear on the loot tab. Otherwise no appearance as they are co-GM only with no character.

  • XP Tab
  • If they select the character option above they would appear on the XP tab. Otherwise no appearance as they are co-GM only with no character.

  • Just my 2 gold pieces. Loving the co-GM feature.

Hrmm... Co-GMs shouldn't have to 'join' the campaign. It's a new feature so it wouldn't surprise me if there are some bugs, though. If they don't join with a character, they shouldn't show up on the loot or xp tabs.
And I agree that they should show up on the Dashboard as a GM. I'll see what I can do about that tonight.
