Kyla

Kyla is a tall stick-like human woman in her early twenties with dark brown hair and amber eyes. She always seems rather well kept for a druid, and arranges her straight hair in a small knot in the back of her head. Her leather armor fails to hide her extremely thin form and would look quite comical were it not specially fitted. She carries a scabbard at her side and several small pouches on her belt. Her soft leather boots reveal that she spends much of her time wandering through the wilderness, and her dark green cloak looks a bit weathered.

Kyla is from a lower upper class family of great honor in Suvarion. Her family was always loving and supportive, but it was still clear that she didn't really fit in here. Awkward and gangly she didn't resemble anything of the strong athletic types that were desired. She always wanted to be outside rather than couped up inside with her schooling, and she cared little for the war stories that the history teachers were so fond of. Which is not to say she was couped up all the time, but she was made to sit for some of the more important lessons. When she said she wanted to be a druid they supported her, but secretly hoped she wouldn't be accepted into that group either. When she was they urged her to study in a less hostile place (in part because they thought she might be safer and perhaps in part so that she did not shame the rank of the family).

Her older brother Jared was much more the ideal Suvarion, but he never seemed to mind going off to play in the woods, even if he did pretend that every little thing was an enemy they had to plot against. She always assumed he did it to annoy her though. Every time she was trying to convince a bird or squirrel to get closer he would pop up and ruin the attempt with some claim of victory. The woods were better alone. >.<

Her real mother died when she was 17 and her father remarried a few years later.
