It's a small walled port (the wall is chin-high) with a tiny harbour (although large enough for a fleet of twenty silt schooners) and a cobblestone plaza with a well encircled by a wall of gorak bones. The harbour is reached through a narrow inlet and only has one quay. Its has fifty two huts that are made from stone, shaped like beehives with a roof of gorak hide. The inhabitants seem to farm goraks, do some hunting (with bone spears) and there is also mention of chadnuts, so they might grow those as well. In the book its headman is an elf-tarek halfbreed called Riv. Riv says that most of the villagers are slaves who came there after fleeing the cities.

The Templar magistrate, Praetor Thalnus, is the true power in the port, however. His legion provides all of the protection the port has.
